It’s apparently it’s not just a cliche that men don’t seek out advice from their GP. According to a 2016 survey of 500 men aged between 18 and 70 by Cleveland Clinic:
- 60 percent of respondents said they avoid going to the doctor as long as possible.
- 53% of the men surveyed agree that their health just isn’t something they talk about, and 19 percent admitted they go to the doctor so their significant other or loved one will stop nagging them.
Prevention is paramount for all our health, no matter what gender you are and seeing a doctor if you have concerns can keep a small problem from turning into a big one. Knowing how to have a healthy life can help you live a longer and better quality life. Here are some sites that might help.
