Emily’s 100km charity cycle ride

Our very own Emily Pimm: Deputy Care Home Manager at John Wills House is cycling 100km across London, at night on the 23rd of May.  Your support will help raise vital funds for three amazing British charities who are working on research to treat breast, cervical and ovarian cancers: Breast Cancer Now, Jo’s Cervical Cancer Trust and Ovarian Cancer Action.

In Emily’s words: ” I’m doing this for a couple of reasons, main one being to raise money for charities that are for causes close to my heart. Sadly, my Auntie passed away from ovarian cancer, and as many people have experienced, I’ve had family and friends who have also been affected by cancer, so I wanted to do something to raise money for these particular charities. I also wanted to set myself a challenge, after receiving treatment for psoriatic arthritis and becoming more stable, I wanted to prove to myself I am still capable of overcoming a physical challenge!

If colleagues are able to sponsor me, I would be grateful for anything they can spare. This will help motivate me to keep up the training, which in this current climate can be quite a challenge! But I am determined to complete the training to enable me to compete 100k in May. If you can, please sponsor me via the link below:”
