Ever found yourself on “auto-pilot”?

We are very excited that A PHD psychology student from UWE is running a FREE Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) course at Cote Lane this Spring.   And you’re invited to join in.

If you take part you’ll just need to fill out a sign up form, as well as 4 questionnaires before and after the course so it can be evaluated as part of a research project.

ACT is a tried and tested method for helping people become more resilient and for improving wellbeing.  We will help you clarify what’s important to you and help you move towards your personal values.  If you have ever found yourself on “auto-pilot” or felt overwhelmed by stressful or unpleasant thoughts, then ACT can help you to engage with your daily actions more mindfully.

If you ‘d like to take part, you’ll need to be able to attend a series of four     1-hour workshops at Cote Lane:

2-3pm on Thursday 2, 9, 16 and 23 April 2020
